In 2008 Heather took the step of setting up her own cake decorating business. She works from her environmental health department registered kitchen and passed with distinction in her 'principles and practices in food safety ' examination.
All of her cakes are prepared and baked on the premisses from fresh ingredients. Each cake is created to order so that the customer can specify what they would like. There are many choices of cake such as madeira, chocolate and chocolate biscuit cake. You can also choose a wide variety of flavours for your cake filling such as strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. If you don't see a cake or filling that you would like then you only have to ask and Heather will try and accomodate your needs.
Each cake is decorated to order to your own specifications. Cakes by heather carries some standard designs on their product page to give you an idea of pricing, even these cakes can be personalised in any way which you would like. From choosing your favourite teams jersey to specifying what decorations you would like to adorn your babys christening cake Heather can do it. Because cakes can take anywhere from two to twenty hours to decorate each cake is priced individually.

Heather strives hard for perfection on all her cakes and because of this we know you will be extremely happy with the results. She has an eye for detail that carries over into all of her work, ensuring that you get a cake that we are sure people will talk about for a long time.
Company History
Heather has been creating cakes for people for the last 20 years. Initially, as a child in her mothers kitchen, she delighted in creating cakes for her friends and family. What was once a hobby has blossomed into a full time career. After many years of people comenting on her beautiful cakes she finally took the step of starting her own cake business in 2008.
Since then she has created many masterpieces for every occassion, from corporate events to childrens birthdays and weddings.
